General website content is provided for information and is not professional advice. Publishing a funding opportunity does not, by itself, constitute an individual funding award.

Funding applications and awards

Applications are assessed against the published criteria for the relevant round and available funding. Submitting an application or meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee an award.

A funding award is confirmed in writing and is subject to the relevant round terms and the conditions set out in the individual award notification.

Applicants must provide complete and accurate information and notify the CSTF of material changes affecting their application or award. Materially inaccurate or misleading information may result in rejection or withdrawal of an award in accordance with the applicable round terms.

Changes to funding arrangements are governed by the relevant round terms. These website terms do not give the CSTF an additional right to change or withdraw an accepted award.

Training and qualifications

Training is delivered by participating training providers. Qualifications are awarded or certificated by the relevant provider or awarding organisation, as applicable.

The CSTF provides funding support; it does not deliver training or award qualifications. Applicants should check the provider’s entry requirements, course details and enrolment terms. A funding award does not guarantee admission or successful completion.

This description of the fund’s role does not exclude any responsibility the CSTF has under law or an agreed funding award.

Acceptable use

You must not knowingly submit false or misleading information, create duplicate applications to obtain an unfair advantage, access information or systems without authorisation, introduce malicious software, or interfere with the website’s security or operation.

If you need to correct an application already submitted, please contact us and quote your application reference.

Intellectual property

Website content is protected by intellectual property rights and is owned by its respective rights holders or used with permission.

You may view, download and print published guidance for your own information and application purposes, keeping any attribution or copyright notices. Other reproduction or commercial use requires permission, except where permitted by law.

Do not use the CSTF name or logo to imply endorsement, partnership or a funding award without permission.

Website availability

We aim to keep the website available but access may occasionally be interrupted by maintenance or technical problems.

If a technical problem prevents you from submitting an application, please contact us promptly. Reporting a problem does not automatically extend an application deadline or guarantee funding.

Responsibility and legal rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

These terms do not remove any rights you have under applicable law or an agreed funding award.

Governing law

These website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Nothing in this clause limits any mandatory rights or jurisdiction protections available to you under applicable law.
